George Frederick Bentinck, 89, of Houston passed away June 29, 2008. He was born June 25, 1919 in Houston, Texas to the late George & Bertha Phillips Bentinck. He served his country as a Captain in the US Army during WWII. He was a graduate of A&M College of Texas, class of 1941.

Survivors include his wife Ruby Ruth Ratliff Bentinck of Houston; daughter Bette Smart & husband Jeff of Katy, TX; son George C. Bentinck of Hockessin, DE; and granddaughter Hilary Smart of Austin.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel with Stuart Henderson officiating. Interment will be at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
