George Patrick Armstrong, 83, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home in Matagorda, Texas. He was born May 6, 1937 to the late Earl Armstrong and Lela Lecompte.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Armstrong; his parents; sisters, Lilie Mae Orr and Patsy Cartwright. George is survived by his daughters, Linda Dooly, Cynthia Wooley, Tammy Mahorin; son, Ray Armstrong; step-children, Diana Isaac, Vickie Lansford, Kathy Landry, Tracey Grissett, and Donnie Kopnicky; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services are 10:00 am Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.
