George Wayne Anderson, 74, of Markham passed away August 15, 2017. He was born January 8, 1943 in Hemphill, TX to the late Johnny Lindell Anderson and Allie Della Travis Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Kathryn Elaine Anderson.

Survivors include sons Greg Anderson of Porter, TX and Gari Anderson & his wife Melissa of Hemphill, TX; daughters Kimberley Philyaw of Markham, Karrie Rush & her husband Steven of Blessing and Kathleen Little & her husband Bill of Markham; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Ashby Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Anderson, Marvin Elliott, Grady Quinney, Dustin Nemec, Joe Garcia and Mark Anderson.
