Obituary

Gary Wayne Wooten II of Van Vleck, Texas entered the gates of Heaven on August 6, 2023 at the age of 38. He is survived by his wife Valarie Wooten, daughter Grace Wooten, sons Jake Wooten and Nickalus Wooten, father Gary Wayne Wooten, sister Elizabeth Odom Pringle (Chris); brothers John White, Justin Wooten, and Kevin Wooten; niece Desimber Patterson (Logan), great nieces and nephew Karsyn, Kinleigh and Jacobey; along with many other numerous loving family and treasured friends.

Gary was born July 13, 1985 in Montgomery, Texas to Gary Wayne Wooten and Melinda McCoy. Gary was an intelligent, creative, and talented man. He loved working with his hands and could create or fix anything that was thrown at him. In his free time, Gary loved to fish, golf and most of all, spend time with his family. He was a reserved man but, enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends. Gary's humor and generous spirit touched the hearts of everyone he met. Gary will be welcomed into Heaven by his mother Melinda McCoy and sister Shannon Odom.

The family would like to thank everyone for their help with Gary's services. Your support means the world to them. Gary's visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 beginning at 9:00 am at First Pentecostal Church in Bay City, Texas. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 AM.
