Fredie Maxine "Mac" Charlton, 92, of Hull, TX left to go with the Lord June 12, 2014 in Liberty, TX. He was born February 4, 1922 in Midway to Grover C. Charlton and Annie F. Hicks. He lived in Channelview, TX where he stayed for 35 years raising a family and working at the Houston Post. He retired to Athens, TX where he raised cattle until his move to Inks Lake, TX. There he built a cabin on the water where he stayed for over 20 years. He then located to Hull where he spent the remainder of his life. "Mac" was faithful to the Church of Christ, hardly missing a Sunday or a Wednesday. He built several houses throughout his life and spent much of his time outside up keeping his home. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Oneida (Bullington) Charlton, his four children Pat, Lynn, Gary "Chief", and Ree, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services will be 10:30 AM Monday, June 16, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Carnathan officiating.
