Freda Mae McGinty, our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother journeyed into the arms of her Lord on September 21, 2011 while in the presence of her loving family. Freda was born February 28, 1927 in Marlow, Oklahoma to the late Willis Wheeler and Margaret Ensminger Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Andrew F. McGinty, her son William Dale McGinty, sister Mary Lee Heck, brothers Eugene Jefferson Wheeler, Charles Raymond Wheeler & George Elton Wheeler.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Pam & Berny Schneider of Bay City and Linda & Randy Kelley of El Maton; daughter-in-law Ina McGinty of Havelock, North Carolina; grandchildren Andrea, Nathan, Andrew, Mikey, Chris & Jonathan; great grandchildren Madison, Sophia, Ethan, Haylee, Nick, Ryan, Kayson, Riley, Landon, Emilee, Jacob, Cole, Kirra & Hayden and sister Dorothy Faye Barton of Kilgore.

Mrs. McGinty was a long-standing and faithful member of Family Worship Center.

"Mom we love you and take great comfort in knowing that you are in Heaven with Dad and some day you will hear us say, "Mom, I'm home"".

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 9:00 AM Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at the Family Worship Center with Rev. James Guerrero officiating. Burial will be 4:00 PM Saturday at Kilgore Memorial Gardens in Kilgore, TX. Pallbearers include Andrew Woodson, Mikey Woodson, Chris Schneider & Jonathan Schneider.
