Frank Morales Sr., 78, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009, in Bay City, Texas. He was born March 9, 1931 in Cuero, Texas, to Juanita and Paz Morales, Sr. He was a resident of Bay City, and owner of Wolffarth & Bowman, Inc. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Knights of Columbus, former BCISD School Board member, and a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Mary Elisa Morales, parents Juanita and Paz Morales, Sr., brothers Jose and Caesar Morales, Sr., and sisters Inez Garcia and Cruz Bustos. He is survived by his son, Frank Morales Jr. & wife Katy of Bay City, Texas, grandchildren Trey Morales and wife Tracy of Pflugerville, Texas, Keith Morales and wife Michelle of San Antonio, Texas, and Valerie Morales of Dallas, Texas, and great grandchildren, Tracen Morales and Sydney Morales. He is also survived by his sister Inocensia Hernandez, sister Janie Amador and husband David, brother Pete Morales and wife Connie, brother Paz Morales and wife Andrea, sister-in-law Rosie Morales, brother-in-law Richard Bustos, Sr., sister-in-law Mary Louise Martinez and husband Charlie Martinez, Jr.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, Monday, May 25, 2009, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Charlie Martinez III, Ray Garcia, Jr., Mundy Garcia, Rolando Rodriguez, Lonnie Ramirez and Mario Martinez.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Building Fund.
