Francisco "Frank" Gonzales Jr., 55, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. He was born on October 9, 1957 to the late Francisco & Marcela Galvan Gonzales Sr.. Francisco coached little league in Blessing from the mid 90's to about 2008. He loved woodworking and cooking. He was a long time member of the Blessing Volunteer Fire Dept.

He is survived by his loving wife: Irene Gonzales; 2 children: Kevin Gonzales Sr. & girlfriend Kari Crain and Francisco Gonzales III; 2 grandchildren: Kevin Jr. and Alizia Marie Gonzales; 9 brothers and sisters: Juan Gonzales Sr., Fernando Gonzales Sr., Felipe Gonzales, Lydia Moran, Leonisa Garza, Licha Mesa, Fidela Wilkins, Luisa Gonzales, and Catarina Conde; and numerous nieces and nephews. Francisco was preceded in death by his parents; son: Christopher Gonzales, sister: Delia Ramirez, and brother: Pepe Garza.

The Rosary will be recited: 6:30 PM Monday, November 12, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing with Father Peter Yeboah-Amanfo officiating. Pallbearers will be: Kevin Gonzales Sr., Kevin Gonzales Jr., Francisco Gonzales III, Fernando Gonzales Jr., Gabriel Gonzales, and Byron Battle. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ben Llanes, Ricky Torres, and Cooky Rios.
