Frances Ann Stallings, 53, of Houston passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008 of natural causes. She was born March 6, 1955 in Palestine, Texas to Dolly Stallings and the late B.W. Stallings.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Stacey Neal of Long Beach, California; son Braden Linder of San Antonio; mother Dolly Stallings of Matagorda; sister and brother-in-law Celia and Tim Oden of Angleton; nieces and nephews Dustin and Kasey Oden of Angleton; Tricia and Dusty Park of Angleton; cousins, Beverly and Bob Beck of Palestine, Gail and Gene Kelly of Monroe, Georgia, Ann and Winston Brundige of Ogden, Utah, Ellen Friedman and Ted Dunning of San Diego, California, Linda and Charles Allison of Bay City, Sherry Smith and David Long of Bullard, Dale Wayne and Brenda Smith of Palestine, Danny and Dorenda Smith of Palestine, and many more extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 5, 2008, from 5 to 7 PM at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Christ Episcopal Church of Matagorda with Rev. Pauline Harvey officiating. Interment will follow at the Matagorda Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dale Wayne Smith, Danny Smith, Timothy Oden, Justin Oden, Charles Allison, and Joe Allison. A small luncheon will be held immediately afterward at the Matagorda United Methodist Church.
