Frances G. Perez, 86, of Bay City, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009. She was born March 21, 1923 in Francitas, TX to Luis Guillen and Angelita Soto Guillen. She was a lifelong resident of Bay City and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters: Cynthia Rodriguez & husband Jesse of Houston, Jessica P. DeLaRosa of Bay City and Frances Perez of Bay City; by her sons: Pedro Perez, Jr. & wife Bertha of Missouri City, and George Perez & wife Yolanda of Bay City; by sisters: Juanita Sanchez and Emma Balboa of Port Lavaca and Angelita "Vita" Sauceda of Kyle, TX; by 12 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Pedro R. Perez; her parents; by daughters: Juanita Perez, Valentina P. Valdez and Gloria Perez; by sons: Jose Angel Perez and Jesse Perez; and by her brothers: Carlos Guillen, Natividad Guillen and Enrique Guillen.

The Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, April 20, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Joey Perez, Adam Perez, Jesse Valdez, Jr., Fernando Trevino, Jesse Joe Rodriguez, and John Paul DeLaRosa. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Allen Perez and Jesse Perez.
