Frances Marie Hlozek, 86, of El Campo passed away June 4, 2005 in Wharton. She was born January 28, 1919 in Cistern, Texas to Tom F. Brdecko and Mary L. Dornak Brdecko. She was a life long resident of Blessing.

She is survived by two daughters, Bernice Todd of Denison, Texas and Dorothy Foltyn of Bay City; by two sisters, Martha Vacek of Palacios and Rosie Kosarek of Blessing; by six grandchildren, Richard Foltyn, Michael Foltyn, Darrell Foltyn, Phyllis Wilburn, Marilyn Nye and Tony Todd; and by two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Ed A. Hlozek; a son, Edward L. Hlozek; three sisters, Mary Tomasek, Bernice Brdecko and Mary Brdecko and by one grandson, Douglas Foltyn.

A rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Blessing.
