Frances C. Harvey, at the age of 94 years, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at the Legacy Campus Matagorda Healthcare Center in Bay City, Texas. She was greatly loved by her family, especially all her grandchildren who thought she was the world's greatest cook, and the one to whom they should tell all their secrets when they spent the night with her. She will be remembered and missed by the ones she left behind…yet who know that one day we shall again see MaMa….this time in Heaven.

Mrs. Harvey was born in Devers, Texas, on March 14, 1918, but a few years later her parents, Aze Berry and Anna Snider, moved to Palacios, Texas. As a young girl, she met and later married Freeman Harvey whose family moved from East Texas to Palacios. The couple had five children, a daughter, Nalona Harvey Neuszer (husband, Leo), Blessing; four sons: Gaylon Harvey (wife, Rosemary), Blessing; Larry Harvey (wife, Dorette), Alvin; Donnie (wife, Mary Jo), Palacios; and Lonnie (wife, Wanda), Palacios. She had 16 Grandchildren; 36 Great-Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, her husband, Freeman Harvey, and her son, Lonnie Harvey, and 1 infant grandchild, and 4 infant great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Harvey's service will be Friday, July 27, 2012, at 10:00AM at Palacios Funeral Home in Palacios, TX. Visitation will be Thursday evening, 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palacios Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her 8 grandsons: Tim Harvey, Chris Harvey, Toby Harvey, Phil Neuszer, Michael Harvey, Tyson Harvey, David Harvey, and Kevin Harvey.
