Frances Adair Haas, 93, died October 2, 2005 at Bay Villa Nursing Home in Bay City. She was born September 15, 1912 in Union Town, Alabama to Gordon Cunningham and Weir Lessie Cunningham. She had been a resident of Bay City for 10 years and was a member of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Haas; sisters, Lessie Cheffield and Ida Mae Swank; and brother, Robert Cunningham.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Norma and George L. Parsley of Palacios; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Josephine Wallis of New Iberia, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Nancy Crawford and husband, Lonnie of Fairfield, Ohio, Virginia Sanders and husband, Perry of Boerne, Texas, Charlene Garcia and husband, Joe of Bay City, George Parsley, Jr of Austin, and Linda McGill and husband, John of Hearne, Texas; and by four great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Don Storey officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 pm Thursday at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota, Texas. Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City.
