Frances Aparicio Buentello, of Palacios, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her husband and children at her bedside, Friday, March 9, 2018. She was born on December 7, 1930 in Palacios, Texas to the late Isaac Aparicio and Manuela Villarreal Aparicio.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Alice Buentello, and sisters Maria Silvas, Juana Gonzalez, Isabella Garcia, and two brothers, Homer and Bernard Aparicio.

Frances is survived by her dedicated and loving husband of 65 years, Francisco Luis Buentello Sr. of Palacios, Texas; 8 sons and 2 daughters; Francisco Luis Buentello Jr and wife, Mary Ann of Ashburn, Virginia, Richard and wife, Karen of Nokesville, Virginia, Father Michael A. Buentello, C.S.B. of Rochester, New York, Lucia Marie Cantu and husband, Rene, Mary Helen Anderson and husband Edward of Lake Jackson, Texas, Danny Buentello and wife Marcela of Lake Jackson, Texas, Steven Buentello and wife Elizabeth of Angleton, Texas, Patrick John Buentello and wife Roseann of Angleton, Texas, Ralph Isaac Buentello and wife Valerie of Victoria, Texas, Carlos Gerardo Buentello and wife Mariza of Angleton, Texas. Frances had 24 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters Andrea Morales and husband Paz of Palacios, Texas, Antonia Garcia of Palacios, Texas, and Rose Aparicio of San Antonio, Texas and a brother, Pete Aparicio and wife Lily of San Antonio, Texas.

In lieu of flowers and in recognition of France's faithful life, the family requests consideration of memorial donations to the Church she loved so much – St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 1004 Magnusson, Palacios, Texas 77465

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6PM until 9PM Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Holy Rosary being at 7PM. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Wednesday March 14, 2018, followed by interment service at the Palacios Cemetery with Father Michael A. Buentello, C.S.B. officiating.
