Flois Alleen Willburn Henrichsen, 87, of Bay City passed away March 2, 2014. She was born February 23, 1927 in Spearman, TX to the late David Hyron Willburn and Louisa R. Ward Willburn. Mrs. Henrichsen was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and was a resident of Bay City since 1965. Flois was a bookkeeper for Anderson Brothers and was retired from Dependable Motors.

Survivors include daughter Barbara Graves of Hutto, TX; son John & Debbie Henrichsen of Bay City, son Thomas & Trudy Henrichsen of the Woodlands, TX; sister Betty Buchanan (Arthur); brother Blain Henry (Clarice); six grandchildren; Phillip (Katie) Graves; Ashley Graves; Seth (Jordyn Kennon) Henrichsen; Caleb Henrichsen; Timon Henrichsen; Graham Henrichsen and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Henrichsen; sisters, Edna Hodge, Ann Buckalew and Dorothy Willburn; brothers, David (Pete) Neil, Horold, Maurice, Allen and Glynn; great grandchldren Reagan and Denton Graves.

Flois' calling in life was to love her family and taking care of them – she excelled at this passion of hers.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home from 5-7pm. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 2:00pm at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Bay City with the Rev. Jared Stillions officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Darrell Willburn, David H. Willburn, Phillip Graves, Ashley Graves, Seth Henrichsen and Caleb Henrichsen. Honorary Pallbearers include: Danny Neil Smith, Harry Alton Englemohr, Timon Henrichsen and Graham Henrichsen.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Matagorda Regional Medical Center, Texas State Health Care, Matagorda Nursing and Rehab and Houston Hospice-El Campo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to Houston Hospice –El Campo.
