Felisiano Valderas Soto, Jr., 88, of Bay City passed away July 6, 2026. He was born February 28, 1938 in Senora, Texas to the late Felisiano Soto, Sr. and Petra Valderas Soto.

He retired as a heavy equipment operator for Matagorda County Precinct 1. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and was a very caring man, who would always help others who were in need. He loved to fish, hunt and garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Victor Lee Soto and a grandson Paul Soto, Jr.

Survivors include sons Jimmy Able Soto (Lillian), Daniel Joe Soto (Teresa), Peter Soto (Estella) and Paul Soto; sisters Rosa Gutierrez and Antonia Garza; grandchildren Lisa Marie Soto, J. J. Soto, Victoria Lee Diaz, Danny Soto, Jr., Ramon Soto, Abigail Soto, Jesse James Soto, Ariel Mercedes Cortez, Karolyn Marie Soto, Paul Ryan Soto, Christopher Jackson Soto and Christina Maria Zavala and great grandchildren Lowell, Nala, Amir, Brayden Lane, Emberlynn Grace, Amari Marie, Kaysen Thomas, Josey Scarlet, Kane, Jade, Sandra, Cambria and Aiden.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Monday, July 13, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
