Feliciana G. Llanes, 82, of Palacios died May 23, 2006 at Memorial Hermann Southeast in Houston. She was born September 1, 1923 in Edna, Texas to Jacinto and Josefa Jaso Garza. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, and a lifelong resident of Palacios.

Survivors include two daughters Gloria L. Garcia of Alvin and Jodie L. Cedillo of New Braunfels; three sons George Llanes, Jr. of Bell Flower, CA, Gilbert Llanes of Pasadena and David Llanes of Alvin; two sisters Mary Guajardo of Texas City and Lillie Perez of El Campo; one brother Jacinto Garza of Freeport; nineteen grandchildren, thirty nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Llanes; son, Domingo Llanes; and brother, Ray Garza.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 25, 2006 at the Palacios Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is 10:00 AM Friday, May 26, 2006 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Dowomoh officiating. Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Llanes, Jr., George Llanes, Sammy Garcia, Jr., David Llanes, Jr., Carlos Cedillo, Rick Cedillo, and Adrian Llanes.
