Felba Ruth McCloskey, 73, passed away and went to be with her Lord and her husband on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Felba was born in Wheeler County, Texas to the late Dempsy and Eva Fern Meyers Lawrence on August 29, 1940. Felba was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was loved by everyone she met. Her priority was always her family.

She is survived by her daughter Michele McCloskey; son Mikel McCloskey; granddaughter Eva Ashley McCloskey and grandson Chris Bouldin, all of Bay City, Texas; brothers Franklin Lawrence & wife Soila of Houston, Dean Ruff & wife Carolyn of Amarillo; mother-in-law Mary Ann McCloskey; brother-in-law Rick McCloskey & wife Yvonne all of Claremont, California. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Mike, daughter, Eva Shannon McCloskey and brothers Keith Lawrence, Ernie Lawrence.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Lane Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Roy Green, Ricky Zarate, Sonny Ware, Jan Norris, Ben Kiker and Kevin Watson. Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Flores and Bro King. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Houston Hospice.
