Obituary
Nellie Faye Carter, 82, of Sargent, passed away March 23, 2018. She was born June 29, 1935 in Fisher, Louisiana to the late George Branch and Evelyn Adaline Howard Branch.
Nellie is survived by her husband Gerald A. Carter; children Vivian Elaine Dobbs (Mark) of Bastrop, TX, Troy & Anna Paschall of Sargent, Charles Eugene Land (Deanette) of Anuhuac, TX, step-children Sharon Alane Sutton (Steve) of Como, TX and James Andrew Carter (Cindy) of Schulenberg, TX; grandchildren Dwain, Jana, James Ray, Sarah, Breanna and Scott; great-grandchildren Gabriel, Blake and Kaiden, and numerous step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:30pm Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Sargent with Royal Jacobs officiating.
