Faye Marie Brown, 93, of Bay City passed away February 3, 2016. She was born September 9, 1922 in Houston, TX to the late Frank Harrison Glenn and Lola Mae Allen Glenn. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandmother, friend and prayer warrior.

She married Leroy Ertle Brown on November 7, 1941. He preceded her in death as well as her brothers John William "J. W." Glenn, Frank Allen Glenn and Raymond Lee Glenn.

Survivors include daughter Gwen L. Brown Kirkpatrick; son Craig W. Brown; sister Doris Pearl Glenn Allen; grandchildren Shane Cornett and wife Suzanne, Fara Ashcraft and husband John, Jamie Kirkpatrick Miranda and husband Michael, Darrell Westcott and wife Ellen and Brittany Gregerson and husband Chris; great grandchildren Brandon Cornett and wife Alisha, Matthew Ashcraft and wife Brittany, Taylor Ashcraft, Ryan Ashcraft, Faith Cornett, Hope Cornett, Kane Miranda and Bryce Miranda; great-great granddaughter Cadence Joyce Cornett and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives beginning 9:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM with Rev. Tony Taylor officiating. Interment will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Woodlawn Garden of Memories in Houston. Pallbearers will be John, Matthew, Taylor and Ryan Ashcraft and Brandon and Shane Cornett.

Memorials in her name may be sent to the Bereavement Fund at the First Baptist Church or the Scholarship Fund at the Matagorda County Fair Association.
