Obituary
Evelyn Ray, 80, of Bay City passed away June 7, 2009. She was born July 9, 1928 in Jackson, Tennessee to the late Leedy Ancil & Pronettie Ammons Ray. She had been a resident of Bay City for 21 years and was a member of Golden Ave. Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Tammy Stevens & husband Jeffrey of Van Vleck; sisters Annie Scarbrough, Lena Mae Teague & Louise Massey and grandchildren Nicole Stevens, Kenneth (JR) Danforth, & Tiffany & Casey Howell.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Golden Ave Baptist Church with Rev. Max Pluss officiating. A reception will follow at the home of Laverne Stevens, 1700 Mustang Ave., Bay City, Texas.
