Evelyn Louise Burrow, 80, of Bay City, Texas passed away on June 7, 2008 at Bay Villa Nursing Home in Bay City. Evelyn was born on April 8, 1928 in El Campo, Texas to Frank and Louise Cerny. Evelyn was married on July 3, 1947, in El Campo, to Walter Edward Burrow. She was a Life Member of VFW Post 2438 Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed lending a helping and caring hand to anyone who needed help. She enjoyed making flower arrangements for any occasion and spending time with her family.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband Walter Edward Burrow; by her sisters Tillie Kalinec, Lilly Mae Williams, and Martha Macek and by her granddaughter Mona Denise Kilbride-Shepard.

Evelyn is survived by; her daughter Linda and her husband Jimmy Kilbride of Bay City, Texas, by her sons, Ron Burrow of Bay City, Texas and Mike and his wife Judy Burrow of Portland, Texas. Grandchildren include; Robert and his wife Trina Kilbride of Bay City, Texas; Paul Burrow of Clear Lake, Texas; Laura and her husband Chris Uriarte of Sugar Land, Texas; Brian and his wife Megan Kilbride of Houston, Texas and Amanda Burrow of Portland, Texas. She is also survived by her siblings Rosemary Boatwright and Mildred Williams. As well as four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Rosary Services for Evelyn Burrow will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 9th at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10th at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories cemetery in El Campo, Texas. Pallbearers will be Henry Smith, Cliff Williams, Robert Kilbride, Brian Kilbride, Greg Boatwright, and Chris Uriarte.
