Evangelina "Quela" Ramos, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014. She was born on August 8, 1933 in Mission, Texas to the late Roman and Dolores Vega Villarreal. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing bingo with her friends. When she had the opportunity she loved being outside gardening.

Evangelina is survived by her husband Manuel Ramos Sr.; children, Sylvia Ramos, Oscar Ramos, Marc Ramos and Margarita Ramos; granddaughters, Monica & Karizma Ramos, grandson, Manuel I. Ramos; brothers & sisters, Roberto Villarreal, Alicia V. Ruiz, Rosa V. Fernandez, Ramiro Villarreal, Maria Lilia Snicker, Elva Villarreal; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Manuel Ramos, Jr., brothers & sisters; Arturo Villarreal, Julia V. Ochoa, Jesse Villarreal, Delia V. Ochoa and Guadalupe Villarreal.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers, Alvaro Villarreal, Armando Villarreal, David Villarreal, Adolfo Villarreal, Marc Ramos, Marcus Zarate and Rey Ramos.
