Eva Woodson Hunt, 79, of Palacios passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007. She was born December 8, 1927 in Midfield to the late Ruie Roscoe Woodson & Cora Hale Woodson. She was a resident of Palacios for the past 59 years, a graduate of Blessing High Scholl class of 1946, and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Palacios.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years: Arl Hunt of Palacios; 2 daughters: Yvonne Conrad & husband Roger, and Cynthia Fletcher & husband Scott all of Palacios; 2 sons: Arl Garron Hunt, and John Ruie Hunt & wife Sherry all of Palacios; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers: Jack and Eugene Woodson.

The Family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the Palacios Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 3, 2007 at The First Baptist Church of Palacios with the Rev. Louis Rush and Rev. David Bush officiating. Interment will follow at Midfield Cemetery.Pallbearers are: Jason Conrad, Jonathan Hunt, Joshua Hunt, Tim Martinez, Paul Murry, David Woodson, Earl Woodson, and Ruie Eugene Woodson.
