Eva Alameda Cervantes, 59, of Van Vleck passed away July 14, 2015. She was born September 28, 1955 in Bay City, TX to the late Belen Alameda and Narcissa Guerra Alameda. She was employed by Girling Health Care in Wharton.

Survivors include her husband Ernest Cervantes; sons Ernest Cervantes, Jr. of Clear Lake, Mark Cervantes, Sr. of Bay City and Johnny Cervantes of Houston; sisters Christina Pedraza of Bay City, Genevieve Sanchez of Bay City and Mary Gonzales of Van Vleck; brothers Adam Alameda, Frank Alameda, Sr., Albert Alameda and Belen Alameda, Jr. all of Bay City; grandchildren Anyssa Lyann Cervantes, Sara Cervantes, Alyse Ryman, Maysie Belen Cervantes, Ashley Marie Page, Raelynn Marie Cervantes, Emily Skye Cervantes, Marky Cervantes, Jr., Jason Anthony Cervantes, Damian Cervantes, Ernest Cervantes III and Marcos Santiago Canales; great grandchildren Anthony Efran Romero, Elianna Jolie Longoria and Case Talasek and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 17, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bardomiano Garcia, Pete Garcia, Daniel Rivera, Joey Cervantes, Eric Cervantes and Steven Cervantes.
