Ethel B. Abraham, 96, of Palacios passed away September 23, 2007. She was born October 3, 1910 in Olivia, TX to the late Servan and Emma Wilson Swenson. She was a longtime resident of the Olivia and Palacios area and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include daughters Lorraine O'Connell of Arkansas, LaVerne Zandanel of Penn., Betty Amador of Mont Belview, TX & Sandra Dudley of Humble, TX; sons Robert Abraham of Palacios, Herbert Abraham of Virginia and Dennis Abraham of West Columbia; brother Ralph Swenson of Louisiana; seventeen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Herbert Abraham.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Palacios with Rev. June White officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Dudley, Michael Dudley, Martin Amador, Ronald Rathnau, Dwight Elledge and Robert Janis. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6PM to 8PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
