Esther Flores Villasenor, 90, of Houston passed away March 5, 2023.  She was born November 10, 1932 in Palacios, TX to the late Charlie Flores and Isabelle Garcia Flores.

Our beloved mother a grandma, was one of the kindest and most loving people we have ever known. Her memory will live on, not only in our hearts, but also through her family and the many lives she touched. We are grateful for the time we were able to spend with her, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. The memories we shared with her will be cherished forever.

One of the things we loved most about Esther was hearing her talk about her brothers and sisters. She loved Robert, Rosie, Rachel, Charlie, Roland, Roy, and Emma very very much, and would often tell us stories about them and the memories they shared together. Family was always so important to her, and her love for her siblings was a testament to that.

Esther also had a talent for crocheting that she took great joy in. She would often make blankets, scarves, and other items for her family and friends, and we were so lucky to receive something made with her love.

Her dog Ruby was her best friend and she loved talking about her. She would show us pictures and tell us stories about the silly things Ruby would do, and it was clear how much she loved and cherished her from the day she walked in her gate.

Watching the Houston Astros was one of Esther's favorite pastimes. She would get so into the game and cheer for her team, and it was a joy to watch her enthusiasm and passion.

Above all else, our grandma loved her family and grandkids so much. She was always there for us, with a listening ear, a comforting hug, or a word of advice. Her love and support meant the world to us, and we will always cherish the memories of time spent with her. We will miss her dearly, but her spirit and love will live on forever.

Survivors include daughter Sandra Faerman and her husband Robert; son Vincent Villasenor; sister Emma Cavazos; grandchildren Jason Faerman and Jennifer Faerman and great grandchildren Nathan Faerman, Christopher Faerman and Hayley Faerman.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Palacios Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM.  Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery.
