Esther Acosta, 82, of Bay City, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006 at The Legacy in Bay City. She was born May 5, 1924 in Bay City to Baldomero Fraga Acosta and Estella Gomez Acosta. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a long time employee of People's Laundry.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Baldomero F. Acosta & Estella G. Acosta; by her sisters: Lucia DeLosSantos, Katy Charles & Estella Silvas; her brothers: Abel G. Acosta & Louis Alexander Acosta.

She is survived by her sisters: Alicia Villarreal of Corpus Christi &Mary Ann Cervantes of Bay City; and by her brothers: Anthony Acosta & John Gilbert Acosta of Bay City, and Albert Acosta of Spring, TX.

The Rosary will be held at 8:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
