Ernest Yanez, 52, of Bay City, passed away June 7, 2019. He was born November 26, 1966 in Bay City to Lupe Yanez, Sr. and Eloisa Losoya Yanez.

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Lisa Yanez; sisters Lucille Rubio and Anna Yanez, and brothers Robert Yanez and Patrick Yanez.. He is survived by daughters Michelle Brady and Jennifer Nicole Yanez; son Ernest Yanez, Jr.; sisters Paula Sedillo of Lake Jackson and Irene Escobar (Wally) of Bay City; brothers Lupe Yanez, Jr. (Delia) of Alvin, Mack Yanez (Margaret) of Danbury, Charles Yanez of Bay City, and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00-7:00pm Sunday, June 9 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Rosary will be 6:30pm that evening. The funeral Mass will be 10:00am Monday, June 10, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Yanez, Wesley Escobar, Manuel Figueroa, Armando Barrera, Jr., Ray Anthony Yanez and James Briney, Jr.
