Erin J. Keys, 65, of Bay City passed away May 26, 2012 at Matagorda Regional Medical Center in Bay City. She was born in Alice, Texas on March 28, 1947 to parents, Earl and Esperance McElwrath Hutchison. Erin taught school for 33 years including 17 years with the Bay City Independent School District as a Special Education instructor. Her husband, John Keys of Bay City, Daughter, Laura Keys of Los Angeles, Son, Randy Keys of Van Vleck, and a sister, Earlene Hopkins of Houston, survive her. As per her wishes, no services are planned following cremation.
