Enedina Nuñez Bernal, 92, of Bay City passed away April 20, 2025. She was born May 14, 1932 in Odem, Texas to the late Jose and Dionicia Nuñez.

Enedina was a loving, caring wife, mom and grandmother who loved serving the Lord giving him praise and glory all her days of life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Silvia Cervantes and 2 sons, Ricardo Cortinas, Sr. and Robert Cortinas. Survivors include her husband Heraclio Bernal; daughters Maria Yolanda Diaz and Hilda Cortinas; sons Rene Cortinas, Ruben Cortinas and Rudy Cortinas and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday, April 25, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Malone officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Leonardo Fernandez III, Richard Cervantes, Jr., Ricardo Cortinas, Jr., Robert Harrison, Leo Silva and Ruben Matthew Cortinas. Honorary pallbearers will be Elvis Cortinas, Robert Cortinas, Amanda Dionicia Walker, Deborah Perez, Carol Trevino, Kacie Cortinas, Amy Frances Jones and Christina A. Cervantes.
