Emily Denn Lee, 92, of Houston and formerly of Bay City, passed away July 10, 2016. She was born May 29, 1924 in Ellsworth, Wisconsin to Matthias John Denn and Gladys Collamore Denn.

Emily was an active member of the First Presbyterian Churches of Bay City, Eagle Lake and Abbeville, LA, where she served as Elder, Sunday School teacher, Presbyterian Women leader, and VBS coordinator and teacher.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, William Wayne Lee; brother Billy Denn; sisters Maxine Denn Farrar and Betty Denn Cartwright. She is survived by son Billy W. Lee of Houston; daughter Carolyn Lee Baker and husband Larry of Magnolia; sister Margaret Huddleston of Temple; grandsons Christopher W.D. Lee and wife Nikki of Katy, Scott A. Lee of Tomball, Matthew W. Baker of Houston, Blake E. Baker and wife Marisa of Katy; great granddaughter Addison C. Baker of Katy and brother-in-law Robbie Cartwirght.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, July 12 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Services will be 11:00am Wednesday July 13, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. J. Howard Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City, TX. Pallbearers are Chris Lee, Scott Lee, Matthew Baker, Blake Baker, Lance Stringer and Shan Kasmani.

Memorial contributions may be made First Presbyterian Church of Bay City or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
