Emily Ann Davis, 88, of Bay City went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 20, 2014. She was born on August 8, 1926 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to the late Albert & Edna Rickman Herman. Emily along with her husband, J. R. Davis, owned and operated The Pizza Place in Bay City. She was devoted to her family, and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Emily is survived by her 3 daughters: Marsha Ann Buller & husband Tommy of Port Lavaca, TX, Jan Kocurek & husband Alvin of Bay City, TX, and Melanie Kainer & husband Bennie of Portland, TX; Grandchildren: Shannon Buller, Blake Buller, Keri (Mike) Hill, Clint (Suzanne) Kocurek, Brian Nance, Kelly (Bryan) Bjork, Kevin Kainer, Kody Kainer, Kade Kainer, and Kaleb Kainer; Great Grandchildren: Hayden Buller, Wyatt Buller, Rylan Buller, Audrey Hill, Corbin Hill, Sadie Hill, Emerson Kocurek, Sera Nance, Joshua Rodriguez, Brady Bjork, Jazlyn Kainer, and Kaliyah Kainer; Great Great Grandchildren: Kaiden Nance; sister: Gloria Schubert; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: J. R. Davis, and sister: Bette Hoskinson.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 24, 2014 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Peter Lutheran Church with Rev. Jared Stillions officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Shannon Buller, Blake Buller, Clint Kocurek, Brian Nance, Kevin Kainer, Kody Kainer, Kade Kainer, and Kaleb Kainer. Honorary Pallbearer: Joshua Rodriguez.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donation to be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church.
