Emelia Carrillo Muniz, 73, of Palacios passed away March 11, 2021.  She was born June 3, 1947 to the late Manuel Carrillo and Maria Cira Cornejo Carrillo.

Survivors include her husband Jose R. Muniz; children Maria Eugenia, Maria Rosario, Carmen (Patricia), Rossa Anna, Jose Luis, Gabriel (Maribel), Gabriela (Drew), Victor (Sonia) and Adriana (Antonio); grandchildren Santiago, Ivan, Enrique, Luke, Esperanza, Ryan, Eduardo, Jesus, Guadelupe, Vicky, Josue, Joel, Giselle, Alex, Gabriela, Fatima, Jennifer, Tony, Andrea and Gabriel and great grandchildren Genesis, Ulises, Cesar, Jose Santiago, Elias, Yessenia and Victor.

A rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM Monday, March 15, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM followed by Interment at Palacios Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Carmen Muniz, Victor Muniz, Jose Luis Muniz and Gabriel Muniz.
