Elza “Glenn” Walker, 84, of Bay City, Texas, went to meet Jesus April 14, 2026 surrounded by family. He was born September 9, 1941, in Milburn, Oklahoma, to the late William Elza and Gretchen Walker.

Glenn saw most of the United States through the windshield of his truck for most of his life. He drove for 38 years and was active with Transport for Christ. After he came off the road, he worked 10 years at Tractor Supply in Bay City. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 48 years, Renee. His children are Brenda Cooper Cedartown, Georgia, and husband Stoney, Kay Doty of Huntsville Alabama and husband Eric, David Walker Port Naches, Texas, Jamie Walker of West Columbia Texas and wife Laura, and Sonja Hamilton of Bay City, Texas. He is also remembered by his grandchildren: Mark Cooper, Matthew Menefee, Stoney Eric Cooper, Scott Baldwin, Julia Hajastavro, Joshua Walker, Jacob Walker, Chad Webster, Corrie Mason, Jason Baldridge, Braelyn Belmarez. There are also 24 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Glenn is also survived by his brother Wayne Walker of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his brother Earnest Walker, his sisters Effie Dennis and Bessie Miller, his grandchildren, Chris Baldwin and Brandy Baldwin and his sister-in-law Delores Walker.

Services for Glenn are scheduled for Sunday April, 26 at 3;00PM at The Living Room Church in West Columbia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Living Room Church, West Columbia, Texas.

Interment will be at Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma on June 4, 2026 at 10AM.
