Elvira M. Padilla, 77, of Houston, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was born on April 7, 1944 in Bay City, Texas to Gabriel Moreno and Refugio Silva Moreno.

Elvira was humble and meek; Her greatest achievement in this life was taking care of her loved ones "mother, brother, husband". Elvira was an excellent cook, and she had a good time in the process. The flowers in her garden were her specialty, enjoying every one of them until the end.

She was preceded in death by her father Gabriel Moreno; mother, Refugio Silva Moreno; brother, Jose Angel Moreno; husband, Leonard Padilla. Elvira is survived by her brother, Justino Moreno; sister, Maria E. Moreno.

Graveside services for Ms. Padilla will be at 2:00pm Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, Texas with Justino Moreno officiating.
