Elva Olivo, 75, of Bay City passed away May 16, 2009. She was born Oct. 17, 1933 in Sandia, TX to the late Jose & Tomasa Chapa Aguilar.
Her husband Jesse Olivo, Sr. preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters Sylvia Garcia & Martha Cantu both of Bay City; sons Ruben Olivo of Austin, Jesse Olivo, Jr. of Bay City & George Olivo of Brownsville; sisters Ophelia Garcia of Sandia, TX, Santos Garcia of Mathis, TX & Narcisa Rodriguez of Bay City; brothers Adan Aguilar of Tynan, TX & Rogelio Aguilar of Alfred, TX; 13 grandchildren Selene Robles, Sindy Garcia, Sanette Garcia, Saulett Garcia, George Olivo, Jr., Crystal Olivo, Christopher Olivo Stephanie Olivo, Elcia Olivo, Jessica Cantu, Michelle Cantu, Jackie Lee Olivo & Matthew Olivo and three great grandchildren.
A prayer service will be held 7:00 PM Monday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Pastor Saul Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Edward Cantu, Jesse Robles, Randy Gunn, Esau Rodriguez, Jesse Rodriguez & Christopher Olivo.
