Elsie Eilbeck, 82, was born on Sept. 14, 1928 in North Zulch, Texas to the late Daniel Lee and Irene Marsh Maddox. She moved to heaven on Thursday, May 5, 2011. Elsie was a loving and faithful wife, devoted to her family. She loved sewing and cooking. She was a living example to her family, showing love, peace, kindness and compassion to all who knew her.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 65 years, James Franklin Eilbeck, Sr.; children Linda Reyes and husband Steve, Donna Rooks and husband Charlie, Nancy Hinton and husband Leon, James, Jr. and wife Karla, Carol Medina and husband Martin; grandchildren Laura Perez, Kim Rooks, Shelley Fischer, Jennifer Perez, Amanda Watson, Christopher James Medina; great grandchildren Kat Perez, Kody Estrada, Chance Rooks, Andrea Geneal Floyd, Ashleigh Fontenot, Kristiana Perez, Desiree Perez, Jesse Seiley, Ty Watson, Easton Watson, James Medina; brother Herman Maddox & wife Priscilla; sister Nelda Jean "Bissie" Fitzgerald.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm to 8pm on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the funeral home. Services celebrating Elsie's life will be held at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 3:00 PM. Pastors Jim Hardaway & Bobby Williams will officiate. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
