Elsa J. Causa de Lozano, 92, of Bay City passed away December 31, 2023.  She was born August 28, 1931 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba to the late Rene Raul Ramirez Causa and Teresa Geonaga Causa.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Alberto Jardines Lozano.

From a very early age Elsa attended piano lessons in Cuba, and this was a passion she continued her entire life. After retirement she continued to play at several adult nursing homes to bring joy and entertainment to others. She received a Doctorate degree of Education at the University La Havana Cuba and a Master's degree of Special Education at University of Texas—Edinburg.

Survivors include her son Marcos Raul Lozano (Coty Lozano); daughter Samantha Lozano (Laura Brock); late grandson Marcos Raul Lozano Jr. granddaughter Viviana Lozano-Guzman (Mario Guzman); brother James Causa; and nieces Theresa Causa and Marion Causa.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, Texas.
