Margaret Eloise (Parten) Sexton

Eloise Sexton, age 87 of Sweeny, passed away Friday, April 14, 2006. She was born September 13, 1918 in Silsbee, TX to Rev. John W. and Anna Fern Parten. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sweeny since 1960 prior to her illness and a Pink Lady at the Sweeny Hospital for over 20 years. Eloise has resided at the Legacy Campus for the past 4-1/2 years. The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Legacy & Matagorda County General Hospital for all their love and support.

Eloise is survived by her son: Kenneth C. Sexton & wife Kathie of Sweeny; daughter: Addie F. Townsend & husband Carl of Bay City; Grandchildren: Alisa Sexton of Houston, Becky & Marty Van Dyke of Sweeny, Kevin Townsend & wife Terri of Flagstaff, AZ, Darryl Townsend & wife Beckey of Anchorage, AK; and Great Grandchildren: Taylor, Hannah & Cameron Townsend of Anchorage, AK.

The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Youth Center Fund at the First Baptist Church of Sweeny or the Pink Ladies Auxiliary of Bay City.
