Eloisa Losoya Yanez, 83, of Bay City passed away September 10, 2014. She was born December 21, 1930 in Midfield, TX to the late Estanislado Losoya and Felipa Gonzalez Losoya.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lupe H. Yanez, Sr., sons Robert & Patrick Yanez, daughters Lucille Rubio & Anna M. Yanez, granddaughter Lisa Yanez, son-in-law Daniel Sedillo, brother Mike Losoya and sisters Maria Figueroa and Vera Guiterrez.

Survivors include children Lupe H. Yanez, Jr. & wife Delia of Alvin, Mack L. Yanez & wife Margaret of Danbury, Charles Yanez of Bay City, Irene Escobar & husband Wally of Bay City, Paula Sedillo of Lake Jackson and Ernest Yanez of Bay City, son-in-law Sam Rubio of Lissie, TX brothers Robert Losoya, Joe Losoya & Simon Losoya, sisters Leonora Aguilera, Josie Tamez, Belle Castaneda & Delfa Lucio, brother-in-law Raymond Yanez, sister-in-law Mela Barrera, 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Friday, September 12, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Yanez, Sam Rubio, Jr., Mack Yanez, Jr., Robert Yanez, Manuel Figueroa & Rogelio Montalvo. Honorary pallbearers will be James Yanez, Patrick Yanez and Arthur Barrera.
