Ellen Wallace, 52, of Van Vleck, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Houston, TX. She was born April 14, 1957 in Beaumont, TX to Doyle Tierce and Jerry Wood Tierce. She has been a resident of Van Vleck and Sugar Valley for the past 21 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in Bay City.

She is survived by her husband: James W. Wallace of Van Vleck; her daughter: Paula Lynn Wallace of Orlando, FL; her sons: James Sterling Wallace and wife Amanda of Sugar Valley and Michael Todd Wallace of Sugar Valley; by her brother: Paul Tierce of Houston; and her grandchildren: Karlee Gardner, Ashton Wallace and Isaac Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents: Doyle and Jerry Tierce.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints with Bishop Chris Bischoff officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Van Vleck, TX. Pallbearers will be Philip Wallace, Mark Camille, Bryan Camille, Michael Wallace, Christopher Baxton and Sterling Wallace.
