Ellen Kennedy, 87, of New Caney, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024. She was born August 18, 1937, in Holland, Texas to the late Mike Karl and Alice Malicoat Karl.

She was a long-time resident of Bay City, Texas, where she lived with her late husband, R.W. (Bo) Kennedy.

Ellen "Ms. Kennedy" was a childcare provider in Bay City for 50 years. She retired in 2015 and moved to New Caney in 2016, where she resided for the past 8 years surrounded by her 3 children, Chris Kennedy, Kimberly and Carlos Gil, and Terry Kennedy. "Mimi" leaves behind 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren who will greatly miss her.

Graveside services for Ms. Kennedy will be 10:00am Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the Hawley Cemetery Pavilion in El Maton, Texas.

The family would like to extend an invitation to join them for lunch immediately following the service at the Six One 6 Restaurant in Blessing, Texas.
