Elizabeth Alyne Davis, 82, of Blessing, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007 in Houston, TX after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 18, 1925 in Stanford, KY to Daniel Potter and Lillian L. Hiatt Potter. She was a resident of Blessing since 1979.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years: Jack Davis of Blessing; her daughters: Sandra Hamilton & husband Wayne of Branson, MO and Jackie Moore & husband Russ of Rosharon; by her sons: Jim Davis & wife DruAnn of Conroe and Randy Davis & wife Mary of Blessing; and by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents: Daniel and Lillian H. Potter; and her brother: Leslie Potter.

The family will receive visitors and Taylor Bros. Funeral Home from 5 PM to 8 PM Thursday, November 15, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, TX. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Lewis Cemetery in DeRitter, LA.
