We gather in loving memory of Elizabeth Ann Brown. Known affectionately as "Mickey" to all whose lives she touched over her 85 years, she passed away on May 10th, 2024 in Bay City, Texas.

Born to parents Jesse New and Gertrude Quattlebaum in Speaks, Texas on March 23rd, 1939, Mickey grew up with nine siblings. Throughout her life, she embodied the values of kindness, generosity, sacrifice, and love derived from her deep sense of family.

Mickey is survived by her husband of over six decades, Kenneth O. Brown, her children Tammy, Latricia, and Mark, as well as three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many friends.

Marked by a selfless spirit and unwavering devotion to loved ones, Mickey put the needs of others before her own and offered comfort and support in times of difficulty. Another of Mickey's most memorable traits was her good cheer. A real "cut-up", she brought smiles to the faces of all fortunate enough to know her.

Mickey was a devoted Christian, finding strength and solace in her faith. A wonderful cook, she delighted in preparing delicious meals for her family. She also had a passion for crocheting, generously sharing beautiful handmade items with family and friends as symbols of her caring and thoughtfulness. In addition to raising three children, Mickey operated a Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio on 5th Street in Bay City for a number of years.

We will forever treasure and be inspired by Mickey's gentle spirit, loving heart, and infectious laughter. Though she is gone, her love and memories endure in our hearts.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Saturday, and services at 2:00 PM, both on May 18th, 2024 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas. Officiating will be Revs. George Kraft and James Guerrero.  Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.   Pallbearers are Todd Frazier, Keith Stains, Dustin Black, Justin Black, Craig Bagby, and Guy Berry.
