EILEEN JUNEK SCHILLING
In November of 2005 Eileen Junek Schilling, 61, of Houston, TX began her brave and fearless battle with cancer. It was not long before her family and friends realized her angel wings had begun to grow and she was destined to become one of God's angels. On Sunday, April 6, 2008 her angel wings were fully-grown and our good Lord above called her home.
Eileen was born on July 20, 1946 in Bay City, TX to the late Edwin and Willie Junek of El Maton, TX.
Survivors include her husband Dan Schilling, stepson Jason Schilling, and her two loving puppies Princess and Badger. Eileen was from a large close-knit family of four sisters, three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Siblings are: Wilma McDonald (Bryan) of Bay City, Gloria Bales (Robert) of Hunt, Cynthia Dujka (Scott) of Bay City, Gail Perkins (Ted) of Palacios, Edwin Junek, Jr. (Robin) of Pasadena, George Junek and Charlie Junek of El Maton. Nieces and Nephews are Coy McDonald (Donna), Keith McDonald (Lori), Kym Chambliss (Cory), Robin Peters, Aaron Bales (Becky), Nicholas Bales, Kristi Dujka (Gene), Mandi Dujka (Sean), & Danny Dujka (Becca), Todd, Blake & Nathan Perkins, Adam Adams, Justin Marshal & Tanner Junek; Great Nieces and Nephews are Sarah, Bryanna, Madison, & Makenzi McDonald, Mallory, Camille & Cassidy Chambliss, Michael & James McDonald, Sarah & Leah Peters, Aiden Bales, Braylen Tieken, and Saige Byars. Close friends are Dick & Becky Humalainen, Tony & Angie Perez, and Mildred Hunt.
Visitation will be at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Wednesday, April 9, 2008 starting at 6:00 PM followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Mass will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 10, 2008 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Blessing, TX with Rev. Samuel Appiasi officiating. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. The Tidehaven Graduating class of 1964 will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Tidehaven Scholarship Fund, The American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
