Edwin Gay, 64, of Bay City passed away September 21, 2007. He was born August 7, 1943 in Bay City to the late William Edwin Gay, Sr. and Ruby Leila Sanford Gay. He was an avid outdoorsman, family man and a business owner.

Survivors include daughters Amy Ging & husband Glenn of Bay City and Ellen Gay of Pearland; son Ed Gay III & wife Cheryl of Bay City; grandchildren Shawna & Brianna George of Pearland, Grant & Will Gay of Bay City and Megan & Aron Ging of Bay City; mother of his children Beverly Dagerath; sisters-in-law Janet Gay of Sweeny and Cookie Gay of Ft. Worth and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Billy, Joe and Claude Gay.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
