Edward Matejceck, 80, of Bay City passed away November 5, 2016. He was born December 4, 1935 in Staten Island, New York to the late Giovanni "John" Matejceck and Josephina Tedesci Matejceck. He served in the US Air Force and was retired from the New York City Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Arlene Matejceck in 1999. Survivors include daughter Patty Kelly of New York; sons Ed Matejceck & wife Dawn of Bay City and John Matejceck of Bay City; grandchildren Devin Hopkins, Cole Hopkins, Tina Matejceck, and Deanna Matejceck and great grandchildren Cameron and Carter Smith.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 4PM until 6PM Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.
