Edward Dannelley, 79, of Van Vleck, passed away June 1, 2017. He was born August 14, 1937 in Mobile, Alabama to Edd and Madge Newman Dannelley.
Ed served his country in the U.S. Army. He doted on his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ed loved riding his motorcycle and later in life, RVing. He never met a stranger.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents; sister Betty Brooks; brothers Billy Dannelley and Paul Richardson and sons, Jim and Rodney Dannelly. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rosie Blair Dannelley; daughters Tammy Quinn of Pearland, TX and Nancy Dannelley of Van Vleck; grandchildren James Dannelley, Jr., Michael Dannelley, Siena Bradford and husband Lane; great-grandchildren James Dannelley III, Hunter Dannelley, Trevor Dannelley, Jason Dannelly, numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Penny.
The family will receive friends and relatives 6:00-8:00pm Sunday, June 4 at the funeral home. Services will be 2:00pm Monday, June 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Van Vleck with Bro. Bob Hobbins officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleckl
