Edna Marjorie (Witt) Jacoby, 84, of Sargent passed away Saturday February 10, 2007 in Houston. She was born February 24, 1922 in Gillham, Arkansas to the late Virgil and Ida (Butler) Witt. Edna was a long time resident of Sargent, a member of the 1st United Methodist Church, a member of the Sargent VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary, and a former Justice of the Peace for Sargent.
Survivors include nephew: Jerry VanKirk of Fort Worth; and her girls: Cheryl Whitmire and Linda Hutchison both of Sargent. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, and husband: Jerry Jacoby.
The Family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will take place 4:00 PM Wednesday February 14, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ed Able, Glenn Hoffman, Vondall Houser, Paul Schmidt, Joe T.
